Congratulations, TYLER!

Tyler is an eighth grader this year and has had an awesome year of track.  We weren't able to go to many of his track meets because Karmyn's soccer schedule would usually conflict.  He ended up breaking a school record and a couple NCC records.  He was undefeated for the season in the 1600 m run.  He qualified to go to the state track meet in Groveport on Memorial Day weekend so we decided to go and cheer him on.  What an accomplishment!!  We knew it would be a LONG day so we asked Steve's parents to keep the kids...Boy, were we glad we did!!!!!  It was so stinkin' hot...the temps were in the 90's so we just baked in the bleachers.  Tyler ran three events against stiff competition in Divisions 2 and 3.  Bucyrus is Div. 4, but at state they only separate the kids into two sections: Div. 1 and Div. 2/3.  He placed 11th in the 1600 m, 13th in the 800 m, and 15th in the 400 m.  Only the top 8 got recognized so he was pretty bummed, but we were ALL so proud of him!  Great Job, Tyler!!
